Tanausú is an artist whose journey and work are deeply intertwined. Born in the Canary Islands, Tanausú's early connection to nature and its stark, volcanic beauty has profoundly influenced his artistic vision. After years of working as a fashion photographer in London, and travelling the globe on assignments, he sought a deeper understanding of the human condition after an awakening in 2012. This experience profoundly impacted his work, leading him to leave fashion behind and explore the psychological landscapes of humanity through his art and studies.

Embarking on a three-year walk for peace across Europe, covering 12,500 kilometres alone, Tanausú experienced a multitude of cultures and landscapes, looking to promote what unites us as humans beyond Identities.

His photographic work and installations delve into the interplay of light, shadow, reflections, as a metaphor for the human experience, often incorporating mirrors, organic textures and philosophical insights to challenge viewers' perceptions and encourage introspection.

In addition to his traditional work, Tanausú embraces technology as an artistic medium, creating digital art and immersive experiences that engage the senses.
